Experience the Chinese Art and Tradition of the Martial Artists and Acrobats of Tianjin at the LPAC
Direct from the People’s Republic of China, the Martial Artists and Acrobats of Tianjin begin their new North American tour with a stop at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on Sunday, October 1.
Veterans of the Ringling Brothers Circus and Cirque de Soleil, the Martial Artists and Acrobats of Tianjin are the premier acrobatic touring company of China, with more than 100 highly skilled performers. The ensemble has thrilled audiences around the globe for 70 years with their high-energy approach and superior acrobatic techniques, solidifying their reputation as the top-performing troupe in the world. Winners at the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival, the Paris Cirque de Demain Festival, and the China National Acrobatic Competition, the Martial Artists and Acrobats of Tianjin combine the discipline and skill of ancient martial arts with the visually stunning beauty and grace of precision acrobatics.
The fast-paced, technically innovative extravaganza illustrates perfect harmony between mind and body through movement, music, and color, which seamlessly tells the story of the wonderfully diverse nature of Tianjin.
