Master Ventriloquist Kevin Johnson Brings His Family Show to the Lancaster Performing Arts Center

Tickets Still Available for Performance this Saturday

Post Date:10/10/2017 8:30 AM

Master ventriloquist and star of America’s Got Talent, Kevin Johnson, will bring his family-friendly show to Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on Saturday, October 14.

Kevin Johnson has been a master in the art of ventriloquism for decades, beginning at age nine when he received a pull-string dummy as a Christmas gift. He then taught himself the skills and techniques of “throwing one’s voice” by watching parrots, which speak without the use of lips. Therefore, it is no wonder that his closest friends, Clyde, Matilda, and Harley, are birds. The audience is sure to fall in love with Matilda, laugh hysterically with Clyde, and be able to relate to the slightly bizarre Harley. From the moment when an audience participant becomes one of Kevin’s “puppets,” to a magical drawing board which comes to life, this show’s antics will entertain and amaze attendees of all ages.

More than 18 million viewers of America’s Got Talent were astounded by his “Godzilla Theater,” and Simon Cowell once told Kevin, “America loves you.” With over 9,000 shows at Legoland California, and appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Kevin Johnson has established himself as one of the top ventriloquists in the country – a treat for the entire family.

Everyone will enjoy this delightful night of comedy at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center, October 14 at 8 p.m. Seats are available at $26, $21, and $10 Youth. Tickets may be purchased online at www.LPAC.org, by phone at (661) 723-5950, or in person at the LPAC Box Office,   750 W. Lancaster BLVD.  Box Office hours are Noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
