Rape Prevention Workshop for Women
The City of Lancaster and the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station will present a rape prevention workshop exclusively for women on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7:00 pm. The presentation will be held in the Lancaster City Hall Council Chambers and will feature information on preventing sexual assault. Female residents are urged to attend.
The presentation will focus on curriculum from the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System, which is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. Information addressed will include:
• Sexual assault awareness
• Sexual assault prevention
• Risk reduction/risk avoidance
• Basic self-defense training
