Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway

📚Lancaster is celebrating back-to-school season with a backpack giveaway on August 3!

🎒This year, the City is giving away 8,000 backpacks, plus more school supplies to students of all ages, from kindergarten to 12th grade.

📆Stay tuned to learn how to register to pick up your free back-to-school supplies at a local giveaway hub. Registration opens July 1.

Immunization Clinic

We're offering Back-To School Immunizations at Sol Plaza and Park View Educational Complex during the Backpack Giveaway event on August 3.

The Department of Public Health (DPH) childhood vaccines are only for VFC-eligible children (Medi-Cal eligible, uninsured, not insured, or American Indian/Alaskan native). DPH is unable to vaccinate any child with private insurance. A parent/guardian must be present on-site to sign medical consent for the child.
