Dr. (Jonathan) Hien Truong received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1992. Afterwards, he completed Infectious Disease training at Yale University, and UCLA Schools of Medicine. In 2001, he was appointed as a Clinical Instructor at UCLA School of Medicine

Dr Truong’s primary interest is in fungal infections, particularly Coccidioides immitis (Valley Fever) pneumonia and meningitis. He publishes and speaks frequently at educational symposiums regarding Valley Fever in the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita, and San Fernando Valley. He also volunteers on a regular basis at an HIV clinic in the San Fernando Valley. 

Dr Truong currently serves as the Chair of Hospital Infection Control for Palmdale Regional Medical Center. In 2020, he was elected to serve as Vice Chief of Staff at Palmdale Regional Medical Center.
