The Lancaster Police Department accepts CCW license applications from residents of Lancaster. To streamline the application process, all submissions must be made through a designated third-party provider.

How to Obtain a CCW License in Lancaster

Our police department follows the steps required by state law for issuing CCW permits, which include background checks, a safety course, and other procedures.

Each of these steps has associated fees, which are set by the respective entities providing the services. These fees are outside of our control, and we do not charge or collect them directly.
