At L28 News, we’re thrilled to introduce Full STEAM Ahead, our program designed to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the young minds in our community. This initiative shines a spotlight on the talents and hard work of our youth in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

🌟 Nominate a Young Achiever!

Do you know a young innovator who deserves recognition? Celebrate their hard work by submitting their STEAM achievement for a chance to be featured on L28 News next month! Each month, we’ll showcase one outstanding young mind, inspiring the community with their creativity and dedication.

📝 How to Participate:

• Submit your child’s STEAM accomplishment by filling out the nomination form here.
• Follow us on social media and stay tuned for our monthly feature highlighting the bright future of Lancaster.

📚 Selection Process

While we strive to celebrate as many young achievers as possible, not all submissions will be featured on L28 News. Rest assured, every submission is deeply valued, and we’re excited to see the amazing accomplishments our community’s youth bring forward.

Factors for Feature Consideration:

• Relevance to STEAM: Achievements that align closely with STEAM fields.
• Diversity of Subjects: Representing a wide range of STEAM topics over time.
• Age and Grade Level: Ensuring a balance across different educational stages.
• Creativity and Innovation: Showcasing particularly unique and groundbreaking accomplishments.
• Community Impact: Recognizing achievements that inspire others or positively impact Lancaster.
• Geographic Representation: Highlighting participants from various areas within our community.
• Frequency of Features: Prioritizing first-time participants to give more children a chance to shine. 
• Media Release: Once selected, participant(s) will be featured on our L28 News broadcast. Parents and guardians must sign a media release form before filming.
