Walk with the Mayor
The “Walk with the Mayor” program not only provides for ongoing public access to the Mayor and other City officials, but also reinforces the City’s stance on building a healthy community. These twice a week walks help participants improve their physical fitness and overall health. Residents can discuss with the Mayor and other officials the important issues affecting them in an informal setting.
Fitness instructor Laura Wright supervises the walks and also teaches senior-targeted stretch and tone classes at Lancaster City Park from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Mondays through Thursdays.
