Downtown Lancaster will roar to life October 10 and 11 with the first-ever Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix. Professional go-kart drivers will race at breakneck speeds of up to 100 miles per hour through the streets of downtown.
The Grand Prix is being combined with a street fair and festival, which will offer a car show, live music, and a variety of food and specialty vendors. Also featured will be special events at Downtown businesses, including the annual Oktoberfest at Lemon Leaf Restaurant. This fantastic weekend of fun and thrills will draw to a close with a Sunday night Loggins and Messina concert at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. Admission to all events except the concert is free; Loggins and Messina tickets can be purchased at www.lpac.org.
