Urinetown, born at New York's outrageous downtown Fringe Festival, follows what happens when it becomes a privilege to pee. Private toilets are outlawed after decades of drought led to catastrophic water shortages. A giant conglomerate manages the water supply by charging people to use the toilet, leading to a revolution with dire consequences. This satiric, self-aware musical comedy mocking better-known Broadway musicals is presented by It's Only Tuesday Productions in the J.P. Eliopulos Family Theatre.
Recommended for mature audiences.
