The high-speed confines of the 2.5-mile Willow Springs International Raceway, "Fastest Road in the West," will play host to the 2010 Liberty Grand Prix this 4th of July Weekend. In what will be the most significant motorsports event in the Antelope Valley this year, the Redline Time Attack Series, the sanctioning body and promoters behind The Liberty Grand Prix have organized a weekend-long block of motorsport entertainment!
Friday, July 2nd is an Open Test & Tune Day for motorsport enthusiasts, practice sessions for the GT Production Race as well as Time Attack competitors.
Saturday, July 3rd will be chock-full of activity—Custom Car Cruise In, Vendors, Military Displays and Fly-Over, Music, Food, Go-Karting, Open Test & Tune, GT Production Practice & Qualifying, Time Attack Practice, "Liberty Grand Prix" GT Production 100km Race, Street Legal 1000ft Drag Racing, all capped off with a 22-minute Fireworks Spectacular beginning at 9pm! The ONLY fireworks display in the Antelope Valley on Saturday, July 3rd, with over 2600 pyrotechnics!
Sunday, July 4th, the racing will continue with the final practice, qualifying and Time Attack competition featuring the fastest street tuner cars in the country racing against the clock! At the end of the day the wild "Super Session", a 5-lap sprint race between the fastest 24 qualifiers ends the amazing weekend of racing!
