The Public Safety Office, in partnership with Neighborhood Impact and the L.A. County Fire Department, is hosting a Neighborhood Safety Day for the Trend Community on Saturday, May 21st, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Free information on Neighborhood Watch, crime prevention, emergency preparedness, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be provided for residents in the area.
Interested residents may sign up to start Neighborhood Watch groups on their streets, and CERT Call-Out Team members will be on hand to answer questions and take information from those interested in signing up for a Call-Out Team or local squad.
Spanish interpretation will be available for residents who need it.
