Water Conservation
Water is one of our most precious resources. Current drought conditions, combined with the difficulty of obtaining water from northern California as southern California has done in the past due to the delta smelt issue, have made water a scarce commodity.
The City is taking a proactive approach in protecting the resources we have to ensure a steady supply of water in the future. In the links to the left, you will find information on what the City is doing to improve the situation, including efforts to use recycled water and reduce use. There are also tips, brochures and other information on how you too can help conserve water. The scarcity of water affects our entire community, and we are working together with residents in the interests of all who live, work and play here in Lancaster.
