Community Clean Up

💚 Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

🌱 What: Time for Spring cleaning! Join us for a community clean up in honor of Earth Day! Before the event, residents are encouraged to clean up their homes, neighborhoods, and local community spaces. Place any trash/debris you want to get rid of into garbage bags and bring them to the City’s Maintenance Yard (615 West Ave H, Lancaster, CA 93534), where the City will provide large dumpsters in partnership with Lancaster’s waste collector, WM.

Lawn Mower Voucher

Antelope Valley AQMD and the City of Lancaster are celebrating Earth Day with a gasoline Lawn Mower Exchange event.

Visit the City of Lancaster Maintenance Yard on during our Earth Day Community Clean-Up on April 27 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. to exchange your working gasoline-powered lawn mower for a $225 voucher to be redeemed after purchasing a zero-emissions lawn mower. This offer is only valid on April 27.

ELIGIBLE EQUIPMENT: Zero-Emissions, Battery Electric Lawn Mower, Any Brand minimum cost of $299.00 or more. The rebate is based on a purchase price before taxes.

Individuals, businesses, organizations, public agencies, and community groups are helping us #KeepOurCityClean with the TIDE-Y Up A Mile Program! 💚♻️🪴

The City of Lancaster TIDE-Y Up A Mile Program provides individuals, businesses, organizations, and public agencies with a unique opportunity to gain prominent recognition while beautifying the environment within their own communities. By collecting roadside litter, participants foster community pride and shape the identity of our City for residents and visitors alike.

It's easy to join. We welcome individuals over 11 years of age, businesses, public agencies, and organizations. We simply ask you to adopt a section of roadway for a period of two years. Learn more or apply now at www.cityoflancasterca.gov/tideyup.
