Celebrate Downtown

All Summer Long!

  • Date: 07/20/2007 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Location: Lancaster Boulevard
    Lancaster, California

This summer, the Lancaster Performing Arts Center won’t be the only place on Lancaster Boulevard that hosts top-named musical entertainment. On July 20 and September 15, Lancaster Boulevard will play host to a fun-filled celebration of fine food, music and community. The City of Lancaster, Lancaster Old Town Site and Antelope Valley Chambers of Commerce will present two free street festivals on Lancaster Boulevard between Fern and Date Avenues. Celebrate Downtown Lancaster was launched in 2005 as a way to celebrate Lancaster’s downtown area and promote community pride. The event is sponsored by GEM Mortgage, Time Warner Cable, Waste Management and Young’s RV.

All events feature a certified farmers’ market, fine arts booths, diverse cuisine including sweets like shaved ice, candy apples and locally-baked goods. Vendors and downtown businesses will offer handmade stained glass, ceramics, Antelope Valley greeting cards, textiles and more. Headline entertainment includes:
