The City of Lancaster’s Planning Department invites the public to attend a public scoping meeting on August 20 to learn more about the Housing Element process and to express their views regarding housing issues and concerns.  City staff will conduct the meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Planning Department Conference Room at City Hall (entrance through north parking lot).

On Monday, July 15, 2013, the City of Lancaster released the draft Housing Element, which plans for the housing needs of Lancaster residents for the period of January 1, 2014, to September 30, 2021. The document presents objectives and programs that would facilitate the provision of affordable housing for existing and future residents of the City, including housing for special needs groups.  For more information and to review the document, click on the link below:
